 At 56,000 acres, Lake Hartwell is one of the largest lakes in the entire Southeast, and is much less crowded than other Georgia lakes. And since it averages 46 feet deep, it’s a boating paradise.

 Work out, swim laps or splash around with the kids at the Swim/Fitness Center. Then head over to the Currahee Trading Company. As an authorized Orvis outfitter, it will keep you busy while the kids enjoy a free scoop of ice cream. The proposed marina is the perfect place to launch all your water-borne adventures. The community grill is a great place to grab a bite. And the clubhouse, with fine dining, a golf pro shop, pool tables, a bar/lounge, and a couple of fireplaces, is both a jumping off point and a destination.
