As golfers make the turn from the ninth to the tenth holes, they now can enjoy a leisurely lunch or grab a quick snack or a cold beverage at Currahee Club’s 2,000-square-foot community grill, completed in December. The grill features indoor dining and al fresco service on a back deck with dramatic views of Lake Hartwell and an outdoor fireplace where residents can meet up with friends. “And the grill is not just for the golfers.

It’s for the whole community,” Currahee Club Project Manager Chris Whitley said. “You can stop and visit while you’re playing a round, or you can ride your bike over for a quick lunch with your friends. We’ve designed the grill to be a lot more than your typical halfway house. In fact, I can’t think of another project with as high-end of a halfway house. And, I tell you, most of them are usually tucked into a corner somewhere. This one has a million-dollar view that must be seen to be believed.”
